How to help to have it restored?

Following the terrible fire that devastated our Lady of Paris on April 15, 2019, a deep feeling of sadness overflowed Paris.

Its inhabitants, its visitors, its admirers, its non-believers as well as believers of all faiths. Built more than 850 years ago, it is part of the world architectural heritage and is indissociable from Paris. Thanks to the admirable work of the firemen (thanks to them, their courage, their composure and their choices) the damage was limited. Larger quantities of water would have harmed it much more.

It is well damaged but can be repaired. Technical and architectural choices will have to be made and it will probably be different from what we have known, but it will be strong again. The massive wave of world-wide solidarity will restore it and make it even more beautiful and radiant. Let us hope that this global project will bring peoples, cultures and desires closer together towards a common goal: to rebuild a symbol of tolerance that has stood the test of time and survived many conflicts, wars and revolutions.
